When you do any kind of energy work long enough, you know when to pay attention. Maybe you already know this, and that's why you're here. It's usually the way that something shows up, interesting, unexpected, and leaves you with a huge amount of curiosity. (Curiosity is one of the strongest energies that exists!)
That's what happened to me with flower essences. I had already been exploring essential oils deeply, and somehow these fascinating little substances popped their heads in and made sure I noticed them.
They were fun, playful, and just happened to merge so perfectly into my essential oil work, I found myself trying them and learning everything I could about them.
Then one day they spoke to me very clearly. I was teaching a class, and we were sitting in a circle doing a meditation. I had purposely sat next to one of the students because I knew she had just experienced the death of a very close friend.
During the meditation, I kept seeing a beautiful flower. It was different shades of pink, had a distinct heart-like shape, and was pointed down rather than up. I had no idea what it was, and the image wouldn’t stop. That’s always a sign to me that this is Plant Spirit communication.
When I got home I started to research “pink flowers pointed down.” As soon as I saw the images of Bleeding Heart flower, I knew that was it. I also found that it is a flower essence that helps to deal with a broken heart from the loss of someone very dear. I had an intense “knowing” that this was for my student, so I got some and made a dose bottle for her. In addition, I made a topical essential oil blend to apply to her Lung Meridian, to complement the treatment.
That day taught me so much about how to use flower essences and essential oils together – not blended together in the same mixture, but as two parts of a treatment that can have very profound effects.
I began to do this more and more, and got incredible feedback from my clients. They would tell me about synchronicities and coincidences that happened to them, and also very meaningful dreams.
I love the way that flower essences complement essential oils so much, I had to make this course part of the overall 12-Course Series. It’s been one of my personal favorites to practice and teach. I hope that you love it as much as I do!
