Ingesting Essential Oils Safely takes us far beyond the controversy and risks surrounding the ingesting method of use and teaches us:
- How to evaluate the quality of essential oils
- How to determine if certain oils are safe for ingestion
- When and why to ingest essential oils
- How to select an appropriate method of ingesting
- How to ingest a safe dosage
Let's learn how to be safe and effective, so we can have fabulous results when we choose to ingest essential oils!
In this course, Instructor Cynthia McMullen demonstrates how to make a Mother Tincture and a Semi-Homeopathic Dose Tincture for ingesting.
Why would we want to consider ingesting an essential oil, rather than inhaling it through the air or applying it topically? The answer to this question will help us to determine whether or not we are making the best choice.
I wanted to make sure this course was included in my series because it's controversial for good reason, and I've seen what happens when people don't utilize this method appropriately. When we do it right, we can get amazing results! But if we ingest oils of questionable quality or ingest too much of even a good oil, we can end up sick or possibly making a trip to the emergency room.
I use my experience with Chinese herbs and also essential oils over the past 20 years as a foundation for the material in this course. I want to make sure that you are comfortable and confident in your information and thought process about this topic.
Each course in this series includes a beautiful, informative Workbook that you can download and keep, plus one or more instructional videos.

Course Highlights
We need to know which oils we can ingest, which ones to avoid, and the appropriate method and dosage to use.
This course provides a great overview of ingesting safety issues like these, in addition to recommending some essential oils for you to try and describing the results that you should expect. Ingesting essential oils can be excellent for a detox cleanse, for weight loss, for cooking, and also for strengthening internal organs and the immune system. When you know how to use essential oils internally and appropriately, you will LOVE this method!
Course materials include the Workbook and five videos in which I discuss various aspects of ingesting essential oils and how to do it safely. A highlight of the course is a special video in which I demonstrate how to make a Mother Tincture and a Semi-Homeopathic Dose Tincture for ingesting. The Workbook also features some of my own essential oil recipes for treating digestive issues, as well as some healthy and delicious ingestible recipes to use in the kitchen. These recipes were a big hit with the students in my live workshops!
You can go through the course at your own pace and convenience.
The course Workbook is downloadable, so you will be able to save it and review it as often as you like.
You will also continue to have unlimited (lifetime) access to all of the course materials on the site itself.
