Essential Oils for Trauma & PTSD: Personal Use introduces a powerful new holistic treatment for trauma and PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) developed and taught by a Medical QiGong Energy Healer, Master Massage Therapist, and Certified Aromatherapist who has an extensive background in Oriental Medicine. The treatment, which has multiple steps, combines essential oils and energy work in a synergistic Mind-Body-Spirit approach to healing the whole person.
This Personal Use course presents the treatment as a self-treatment, but it can also be done to someone else by modifying some of the techniques.
The Professional Use version of this course expands on the Personal Use treatment, creating a full energy healing pattern intended to be used with clients/patients, friends, family members, or others.

Course Introduction
This online course evolved from a live workshop that I taught in Anchorage, Alaska, in 2017. The course videos depict the actual workshop, and the course handout is a modified, enlarged version of the original workshop handout.
Earlier in 2017, I was invited to give a presentation to an Anchorage veterans group on using essential oils to treat trauma and PTSD. Both doctors and patients were in the audience, and it was a very interesting and uplifting experience for me and for members of the audience.
The information that I presented, which is largely from an Eastern perspective, overlays directly with a Western approach to addressing trauma and PTSD, and yet it's also very different. Both Eastern and Western approaches use many of the same types of concepts while coming from two completely different angles, and they blend together beautifully.
During my presentation, as essential oil samples were passed around the room, I witnessed the energy of the group gradually shift from withdrawn, reserved, or otherwise quiet, to open and communicative, and even hearty laughter rang out. I give the aroma of the essential oils credit for the wonderful change that I observed.
A few weeks later, I taught the live workshop to the general public. The workshop greatly expanded on the information that I had presented to the veterans group and formalized the treatment for trauma and PTSD, which included both essential oil applications and energy healing techniques.
Subsequently, this online course evolved from that workshop. The course provides a multilayered approach to treating trauma and PTSD, and although the treatment is primarily presented as a self-treatment, it can also be done as a treatment for someone else.
Most of us have at least a basic understanding of what PTSD is and some of the symptoms associated with that. However, we tend to think of trauma as resulting from an accident of some type, something external and usually unexpected that happens, but I believe that some types of diseases, such as cancer, can also fall into that category. Any disease that strongly affects someone and causes them to change the way that they live - not in a beneficial way but out of fear - could be considered trauma.
This treatment is intended to help anyone who is experiencing PTSD or trauma, no matter what the cause.
IMPORTANT: I want to emphasize that if somebody is undergoing medical treatment of some kind, whether it's counseling or any other type of medical care, this treatment is going to blend beautifully with it. This treatment is not meant to replace any other treatment, in any sense, but rather is to go hand-in-hand with it. Both types of treatment support one another. Trauma and PTSD are serious issues to deal with, and sometimes we want help from multiple angles that is going to be of benefit.
This course includes a beautiful, informative handout that you can download and keep, plus multiple videos.
Course Overview
In my work as a Medical QiGong Energy Healer, Massage Therapist, and practitioner of Oriental Medicine, I tend to see and speak energetically, and I view everything in life, including illness and wellness, in terms of energy. I translate what I see into the energetic language of the Five Elements of Chinese Medicine, energy centers, meridians, and acupoints. So when I look at something like trauma and PTSD, I address it in that energetic language.
In this course, we will look at the underlying energy of trauma and PTSD, and that will give us a lot of information about how to proceed - how to treat trauma and PTSD. We will also look at some of the best essential oils to use, some wonderful energy healing techniques, and how to pull everything together into a powerful and effective treatment.
